Founder and Conductor Emeritus
Paul Luhring is a music arranger and owner of PEL Music Publications, Marinette, WI., a publishing company focusing on music of solos and small ensembles for woodwind, brass, percussion, and vocal. His B.S.degree is from the University of Minnesota, and his masters degree is from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He taught instrumental music at Shawano Junior High School in Shawano, Wisconsin, for 11 years and was the director of bands and chairman of the fine arts department at Marinette High School in Marinette, Wisconsin, for 23 years. He is a trombonist in the West Shore Brass Quintet of Marinette, Wisconsin. A 1991 recipient of the Band World ‘Legion of Honor’, Luhring is a member of the the National Band Association, the Wisconsin Bandmasters Association, and a retired member of the Wisconsin Music Educators Association.

Associate Conductor David Pelow is a retired band director. His B.M.E. and masters degree are from University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. He taught instrumental music and served as chairman of the fine arts department in the public schools of Gillett, Wisconsin for 36 years. A 1996 recipient of the Band World ‘Legion of Honor’, Pelow is past president of the American School Band Directors Association, a member of the National Band Association, the Wisconsin Bandmasters Association, and a retired member of the Wisconsin Music Educators Association.
